Chamber of Commerce in
Grand Rapids, Michigan

Commissioned by the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce, this fantastic two-level office and co-working space was part of their 2018 initiative to expand their business services and better serve their members.

Designed to be a hub of urban activity for the Grand Rapids downtown core, builder Owen Ames Kimball and architect Kim Marks of Progressive AE, created a dynamic space totalling a scale of 9,500 square feet that is now incredibly multi-functional and a great place for meetings, training, and events - even boasting its own ‘work café’. Choosing three of the available colors from our Nature's Collection, a warm checker pattern was seamlessly laid out on the floor, adding more warmth and contemporary style to this heavily-trafficked and busy space.

Did you know that Dinoflex's recycled rubber is harvested from commercial truck tires?

Recycled rubber gives us innovative ways to reduce waste while solving important challenges – from creating softer playground surfaces, to reducing the chance of injuries for athletes, to building lower-impact hospital floors for health care workers who are on their feet all day!

Dinoflex: Case Study - Royal Tyrrell Museum

Every year, almost half a million visitors walk through the Royal Tyrrell Dinosaur Exhibit in Drumheller, AB.

That's about one million feet travelling through the same place, so it's no surprise that visitor comfort was high on their priority list when choosing what flooring to lay down! Their biggest requirements were finding a flooring solution that would not only hold up to the high traffic but also one that won't leave their visitors feeling fatigued after their day of pre-historic adventure.

Dinoflex flooring was installed in this expansive building over 12 years ago but the floors still look as good as the day they were put in, (and that's a reputation we're proud to have!) Click on the link below to learn more about our work with the Royal Tyrrell Museum.
