LOW EMITTING MATERIALS

  • Dinoflex Recycled Rubber Flooring exceeds the minimum requirements. VOC results can be requested by calling Dinoflex.
  • The polyurethane binder used in manufacturing Dinoflex products does not contain any solvents. Referring to VOCs, the binder is a totally inert material even in its liquid state. Furthermore, it cures by using moisture in the air as a catalyst. The above-mentioned VOC test results cover the polyurethane, too, as it is an integral part of the flooring.
  • Dinoflex Sport Mats are manufactured with a choice of two edge finishes. They are either straight edged (“square”) or interlocking (like a puzzle) on all four sides (“4SI”). If the 4SI is used, no adhesive is required for installation, as the interlocking edges just click into place. To use 4SI, the flooring must be a minimum of 5/16” (8mm) thick.
